If you read my first post I spoke of Ten-O-Six and Clinique toner both of which are heavily alcohol based and as a result burnt my face off. Since then, I have been on a quest to find an alcohol free toner that a) works b) smells good and c) doesn’t have hideous packaging.
I thought I had scored with the AVEDA one, but if you read the ingredients… alcohol does pop up. I am no stranger to having a cocktail or two and I’m positive that it is robbing my complexion of its youthful glow. If I have the option of not applying such a harmful substance to my face, I will take it!
Enter Thayers Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Toner. Original, Lavender, Cucumber, Unscented, and my personal favorite Rose. Thayers was established in 1847 and as a result has had much time to perfect their natural remedies.
Not only does it look and smell like a dream, it actually works incredibly well! (Check list complete!) I grew up with fairly rosey cheeks that have become quite tame as a result of using this product. My only problem now is trying to find it in London! Right as I discover my unicorn it runs away on me.
